New Hot Rod
Heetland's bought Madison this great Hot Rod for Christmas. She has no idea she is on control of it, but she giggles every time she pushes the button to make it go.

Standing on it already on Day 1. Do you like her piggy tails? She screamed the whole time I put them in.

The Second Ride

Here's Madison on the rocking horse today. She is saying, "rocky, rocky, rocky."

The Rocking Horse

Gpa Stehlik builds all the granddaughters a rocking horse. This is the video of Madison's first ride. It is pretty noisy in the background, but if you listen you can hear Madison groaning like it is the toughest ride of her life. Despite the serious face, she loved it!

Goofy Kid

Just another example of our silly girl. We have so much fun watching her figure out new ways to amuse herself...and us!

Ho Ho Ho

Madison has learned that Santa says Ho Ho Ho! She also thiks anything related to Christmas (i.e. snowmen, angels, Christmas tree, etc.) also says Ho Ho Ho. I finally got her to say it on camera the other day while she was eating breakfast. Also, she likes to look at all the babies on the Christmas cards on the fridge while she eats. When she says, "Baby Oh," we think that means Baby Girl. Not sure...but that is our best guess.

Kleenex
Madison helped herself to the Kleenex. Usually she grabs 2 or 3 and loses interest. This day, she nearly emptied the box.

The Nativity Box

The Strandmark's sent Madison a Little People Nativity set after she was born...needless to say it didn't get alot of action last year. Anyway, I got it out with the Christmas decorations and Madison has been playing with it alot. The other night, she discovered how much fun the box for the nativity can be, too. I think it is safe to say a career in gymnastics or ballet may not be in her immediate future.

Growing Vocabulary
Madison is now 15 months old and her vocabulary is growing every day. It is so much fun to hear her talk and try new words. Right now, her favorite two word combo is, "Hi kitty," which comes out, "Hi ticky." I love it!
Words said well:
Uh oh
No no
Baby
Daddy
Mama
Hi
All done
Buckle
Cracker
Bye bye
Bubba
Yay
Words that require a little interpretation:
Two
Kitty
Cock a doodle doo
Bowl
Bottle
Beep
Juice
Binki
Another Holiday Picture
I thought I would update the blog and realized Scott has the camera in South Dakota...so you'll have to settle for another holiday photo.
