Madison's Party
Look at this pretty, big girl! Can't believe Madison is almost 5! We decided to have a carnival party with her friends.

Here are all the kids knocking their heads together on the bouncy house. Only 1 kid cried, so I think it was a success.

Getting ready to run through the obstacle course.

Natalie needed a little help with the slide portion of the obstacle course.

The whole crew eating cake.

Grandpa and Natalie supervising the gift opening.

Presents! Glitter, make-up, jewelry boxes, nail polish, etc. What more could a 5 year old girl want?

Nothing tops off a great birthday party like beating a cute little puppy with a baseball bat.

Pay attention to the little voice that is a tad late on the song. So cute!

Happy Birthday Madison! We love you!

Kindergarten
The time has come. Madison is ready for kindergarten. We went to her classroom Tuesday night to look around and meet Mrs. Jordan, her teacher. I took several pictures since I decided not to follow the school bus to the school this morning.

Mrs. Jordan had a little scavenger hunt for the kids to do when they got to the room. Madison enjoyed checking out the fun stuff and animals.

Posing in the story area with Mrs. Jordan. God bless teachers! Their patience is unmatched.

With a tummy full of oatmeal and milk, a bow in her hair, and (to her dismay) last year's backpack, she was ready for the first day pictures.

Mommy got all dressed up for the occasion...in gym clothes.

Can you believe she is this big? I am happy to report, I can still carry her like a baby when I get the urge. She is such a good girl.

Beautiful little gal ready for the school bus.

I can't wait till 3:30.
