Road Trip
We got back from GC Tuesday evening, did some laundry, re-packed the suitcase, and headed out again Friday evening for Nebraska to see Scott's famliy. Madison and I took a day trip to Topeka Saturday to visit the Compton's.
Kennedy giving Madison a nice hug!

Tony with the girls. Madison really liked Tony. I think she's attracted to Husker fans.

Playing with Uncle Steve and the Red Robin balloon.

Gardening
Madison helped Scott plant lettuce and radishes in the garden. The wind was blowing 30 mph but she didn't seem to mind.

When I brought her in for supper, her mouth and nose were crusted with mud where the dirt stuck to her saliva and snot. It was beautiful!

Completely engrossed by the Family Scrapbook

Outside Saturday without a coat (finally!)

Family Scrapbook
Since we live so far from everyone, I made a scrapbook for Madison with pictures of all the family. When she gets to Gpa Stehlik's picture, she bumps heads with him. This game is called Boonce and she must have played alot of it with Gpa when she was in Table Rock. She also says, "pockets" because he always has treats and quarters in his pockets for the grandkids.

Mad-i-sin

Madison is getting good at saying her name, but when you ask her what her name is, she says "Name."

Weekend with Dad
I went to Sioux City to scrapbook last weekend so Madison and Scott spent some good, quality time together. Here she is on Saturday with her boots and shirt that says, "Daddy's Perfect Angel." Scott was proud of his clothing selection and pig tail arrangement so he took a few pictures. I think Madison was pleased as well!
(And yes, that is a cheap Walmart plastic table cloth on the kitchen table. It has red and green crayon on it so I am glad I purchased it no matter how hideous it looks.)
Here is a shot of the deer in the grove (just another piece of evidence that Scott was home all weekend). When Madison sees them out the window or door she waves and says, "Hi cows!" By the way, everything is once again covered in snow because we had yet another freaking blizzard Monday. I hate Iowa.
