Cardinal Classic (aka Gymnastics Recital)
Madison's gymnastics recital was this afternoon. I missed (or deleted) the email I got from Cardinal Gymnastics regarding ordering leotards for this recital...so Madison was one of two kids in the entire gym that didn't have the matching leotard. My heart sank...I felt like a horrible mom. Scott and I took our seats in the crowded gym, doing our best to entertain Natalie during nap time while we watched all the other kids show off thier stuff. We were tired, hungry, bored. But then it was time for the Mini Cardinals to perform and watching Madison do the floor routine made it all worthwhile! She couldn't have cared less that she wasn't wearing the right leotard - she was just so happy to be with her buddies showing off her mad dancing skills! Love that girl!

so friggin' cute! Oh, my heart sinks with you on the leotard! That is definitely something I would do....like when I picked Mitchell up from ski school and realized he was the only kid who's parents let him ski without a helmet! (bad parents!) Like you said, it didn't phase her at all!
