It's A Tooth!
After a little fussiness and some explosive poops, Natalie is the proud owner of a new tooth! The bottom front left tooth has made it's way out of her gum and the bottom front right is right behind it.
Scott left today for a week long fishing trip in Canada with his dad and brother, so I am without my camera. When he gets back, I'll try to post a tooth picture and a shot of the first rice cereal experience. She's growing up fast!

Springtime Action
We broke out the high chair for Natalie to hang out in. I told Madison that Natalie would get to try rice cereal ina couple weeks. Madison's eyes lit up and she said, "She's gonna have LIFE cereal?" She was so excited to have a buddy to share her love of LIFE. Boy is she going to be disappointed when she sees what rice cereal looks like!

Best friends sharing a blankie.

A nice photo in front of the playhouse.

Daddy and Natalie doing whatever Madison told them to.

Chalking up a storm in the playhouse. It was really hard to find a chanlkboard. The world has moved on to dry erase boards, but it just didn't seem right so I searched until I found one.

Natalie's Noises

Squealing for Scott.

Moaning for me. This one is new. I like to call it the "I'm too tired to really cry" moan.

See! She Does Smile!
A big cheeky grin! If that doens't make you smile, nothing will.

Natalie is almost laughing. You really have to work hard to get a chuckle out of her. She was giggling for us before she got the hiccups.
Green Thumb
Madison had a nice pair of Dora gardening gloves. She wasn't very fond of getting them dirty.

Hosing the driveway.

Watering her new pink petunias. I love how she says "soil." It's "soi-yal."

Long Time No Blog
Well, we've been busy lately. Grandpa moved to Hartley Saturday so we had all the family in town for the weekend. Here is pantless Madison bossing Aunt Tamie and Great Grandpa around in the living room.

Whitney and Natalie...probably taking orders from Madison.

Tamie and the princess books. Madison stands them up like this on the rug and calls them swings. Sometimes she puts her dolls in them and says they're swinging. No idea where this came from, but it makes her happy so we just go with it.

Ahrrg! Natalie making her pirate face in the Wubba.

In her cute strawberry outfit Scott picked for her. I swear she smiles...I just can't catch it on film.

Despite the 40 mph wind today, Scott managed to get some painting done on the playhouse. The inside will get a laminate wood floor, a chalkboard, and a fold down table before it is all said and done. Hopefully the outside painting will be finished this weekend and we can put some flowers in the planter boxes on the porch.

We Love Mudders
Madison's daycare had a Mother's Day Tea Friday morning. The kids sang a song called We Love Mothers, but when Madison sings it she says, "We love Mudders."

Here is a video of Madison's dancing. She is definatley our kid...doesn't have a chance at being a good dancer. Sorry Madison! At least you'll have a sense of humor!

The Latest
Before church this morning. We were trying really hard to get Natalie to smile and kept saying, "Smile! Smile!" Madison's smile kept getting bigger and bigger and Natalie stared at us like we were crazy.

In her cute little dress and sweater. Some old lady at church told me what a good little boy I had. You can't dress a baby girl in blue and green (even if it is a DRESS) and not have at least one old lady think it's a boy.

The green sweater makes her eyes look really blue. I don't know if they will stay blue or not. I also wonder if she will be a blonde. Time will tell!

Madison is really into playing Preschool. Here are all the chairs lined up with her class. Clothes must be optional at this school because her students were all naked.

Even Natalie was half naked. (Her outfit didn't button very well because she's outgrown it.)

And finally...today's masterpiece. Madison put this little mess together after lunch. She said it was "Church" and begged me not to clean it up when she went upstairs for her nap.
